Informationen
DESINTERESSE:
Desinteresse is a Dutch coldwave band consisting of Bart (bass), Joppe (drums) and Sem (vocals/synth/guitar). The band comes from the southern province Limburg and was officially formed in November 2022. The band started out as a duo, but has been functioning as a three piece since 2024. After releasing 2 home-recorded cassettes and a 7” single on their own label ‘DECADENCE’, they’ve now signed to Fabrika Records. Their debut album, 'Onschuld', is set for release on September 9th. Their aim is to recreate the sound from a past era, using only analog equipment, seeing this as a form of art, identity and expression.
Cold, abandoned and non-existential feelings mark the melancholic and gloomy atmosphere on stage. Still sounds and voices are not primary - though the message is.
CRUSH OF SOULS:
Crush of Souls is the musical and performative endeavor of Charles Rowell (Crocodiles, Flowers of Evil, Issue).
After relocating from New York to Paris, Charles has been pushing and morphing the project towards its current state over the course of the last years. But it wasn’t until he was living out of a hotel in north east Paris, a short stoned stumble away from La Station and Espace B, that Rowell found his inspiration for Crush of Souls. The city provided the background and the scene of friends who pushed his creativity even further. Now, three years later Rowell and his Parisian souls have toured the US extensively and performed at several high profile festivals in Europe; also supporting Buzz Kull and Harsh Symmetry.
There’s always been a thread of Darkwave, Gothic Rock and EBM running through all of Charles’ projects, however Crush of Souls pushes harder and further featuring cinematic modular synths, primal Wax Trax style beats, challenging noise passages and guitar chords that mix Ocean Rain with Floodland.
