GOBLYNS Urban Spree, Berlin am 04.02.27

Based between Amsterdam and Berlin, Goblyns masterfully blend psychedelic hooks, sticky syncopation, krautrock hypnosis and fuzzed-up funk. The (mostly) instrumental trio, made up of brothers Liam and Francis Broek and longtime friend Giovanni Votano, all born and raised in Gqeberha, South Africa, formed soon after all had relocated to Europe. Drawing influence from bands such as The Meters, Kikagaku Moyo, W.I.T.C.H, Sly Stone and CAN, Goblyns prolifically concoct vibes with no sonic boundaries.

Goblyns have recently announced their third highly-anticipated record, “Who Do You Fight?” – a tight, transformative and transportive record with plenty of windows to get lost through. Packed with infectious grooves, bouncy organs and spaghetti-fuzzed guitars, the band also takes a deeper dive into more traditional R&B songwriting. Frank’s voice threads through half the tracks, weaving another layer to the restless, dreamlike landscape. Who Do You Fight is out via Crazysane Records on November 13, 2026.
