After 9 years of absence, Thanasis Papakonstantinou is preparing to return to the European live music scene.

Thanasis Papakonstantinou is one of the most well known Greek singer-songwriters of the past 25 years.

His compositions bring together diverse influences ranging from free jazz improvisations and post-rock to Greek folk music and popular ballads, the West with the East, a fusion mixing traditional Greek and Turkish / Arab music with rempetika.

What is coming out of the synergy of so many different kinds of music, that, as a matter of fact, come from different musical styles, leads to something entirely new, that cannot be covered by the existing music terminology.

Together with a terrific group of collaborators-artists-musicians, Thanasis Papakonstantinou presents a program with songs from his entire recording history.
